IN CONCERT 33.2 - THE
INCREDIBLE STRING BAND
The
Incredible String Band
after ten years and fourteen albums have become almost a British
national
institution. In their early days they would have been described as a
‘folk
group’ and even today they perform music which has the
strange, almost
mystic
atmosphere of traditional songs, but which is, in fact, written by the
group’s
founder members Mike Heron and Robin Williamson. A selection of
Incredible
String Band tracks in their traditional folk style. Recorded live at
the Paris
Theatre, London.
Original Recording Date :
23 November 1972
